Add all ingredients to a sauce pot and put on high heat.
Once boiling, turn heat down to low and simmer 20 minutes.
Remove from heat. Place a strainer over a bowl and pour broth through strainer to remove vegetables. Sip and enjoy the broth.
Notes
This recipe will count as a liquid for most all bariatric programs. Be sure to review your programs information to find out if it counts for you. Unflavored protein powder can be added but keep temperature of broth below 140 before adding protein powder.
