Preheat the broiler. In a small bowl, mix together chili powder and garlic. Add pinch each salt and pepper.
On a rimmed baking sheet, rub the chili powder mixture into the steak and on the veggies. *You may want to spray with olive oil for mixture to coat evenly. Optional.
Broil, turning once, until the veggies are browned in spots and the meat is charred and cooked until desired doneness - about 10 minutes for medium rare. Remove from oven.
Loosely cover the steak with foil and let rest about 10 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
Serve steak and veggies with optional toppings: Pico de Gallo, cilantro, plain Greek yogurt.
