What are the ‘basics’?
In my experience, there are some very basic needs of the body that must be met to find your groove in managing weight.
When you cover your basics like drinking water, keeping consistent meals and working on healthy sleep habits the other pieces of a health journey start to come more easily.
On the flip side, if you are dehydrated, skipping meals or struggling with a consistent sleep pattern, sticking to a post-op eating plan feels like walking uphill in the snow to school (both ways).
This video is a good reminder of why the most basic needs of the body are worth checking on and making habit changes to give your body what it needs!
