Fall 2022 Focus Challenge Announced!

More details follow but here is a quick snapshot into what the Focus Challenge is:

🍓 think of a habit you want to build in your life

🍓 create a simple goal that helps build that habit (I help on our Goal Setting Workshop call)

🍓 follow along on a tracker sheet (optional workbook)

🍓 connect with others online and on live calls

🍓 hear coaching from a ‘theme’ all month (The theme for the Fall 2022 Focus Challenge is CRAVINGS.)

🍓 submit that you finished your goal that week to be on the finishers board and enter raffles



The “Focus Challenge” is for any post-bariatric surgery patient looking for extra support getting or staying focused on the lifestyle needed for long-term goals. Pre-op patients are welcome to participate!

The challenge is reserved for active members to Bariatric Food Coach (but not an extra cost). Join hundreds of members and find out why they love challenge months!

This is a “focus challenge” and not a weight loss challenge.

This is a 4 week period with increased community check-ins to encourage one another towards a simple, realistic and measurable goal that builds a habit.

YOU pick the goal based on the habit you most want to work on and we support you in reaching  your goal.

The goal tracker is pictured below (or the full workbook on Amazon) is how you track the habit you want to work on, put into a specific and measurable goal. You will also make one for exercise and chose a prize you’ll treat yourself to when you reach your goal!

I provide materials including menus, recipes, nutrition guides, goal sheets and live coaching over Zoom.

Live check-in events will be offered at different days through the month. In part because of my own busy October schedule (I need this challenge too!!) and also to allow for more options for people to catch live. Look at the image at the top of the post for the live call dates.


The first official day of the challenge is Monday, October 3rd, 2022

If you are a current member, just save the date and watch your email inbox! Enrollment will open a little over a week before our start date. *While the challenge is not an extra cost, it does require action to opt-in to the challenge!

If you are not a member, joining as a member will put you on the email list for all challenge information!

*The challenge is included in $14/month membership price and is not an extra cost. There is no long term commitment to joining as a member and you can cancel at anytime.

I will make the “Challenge Page” go live the week before the challenge to allow time to watch videos, print resources, make goals and find meal plans.

We will have a live goal setting session on Thursday, September 29th at 7:30pm Central. This is a great time to connect live and finalize what your highest priority will be for the challenge.

We will have a more casual Zoom session Sunday, October 2nd at 7:30pm that will not be recorded but will allow you to ask me questions about your goal or the upcoming challenge.

Most live calls will be recorded and made available after the session. It will be noted if the call will not be recorded. No participant video or audio will be on any recordings. 


I’ve found we all need a few times in the year to increase our connection. If we did this every month, it would lose its exciting element!

Instead, we do it before the holidays in October, in the middle of Winter blah (February) and in June when Summer schedules and travel throw off routines.

The Fall is a wonderful time to connect and focus before November and December come at us!

You are under no long-term commitment to remain a member and can cancel if you feel it is not a fit for you. (Some challenges charge WELL over $100! And group coaching can cost significantly more. You can try membership for one month and the challenge is still included even if you chose to cancel at the end, though we think you will want to stick around!)
