Whenever I ask Mr W if he has any requests for meals the week, his answer is always one of two things:

chicken basil queso and tomatoes *which he calls something different every time

– something with steak

This marinade has been a long-term go to in my kitchen. I even posted it to Facebook way back when “foodcoachme” was just a FB page and not a blog! I posted this picture and put the recipe in the comments section. I feel so grown up now ; )

The mustard gives this glaze a certain tang that you can’t place, but you really like. Very easy way to flavor steak and have a fancy dinner at home! Great with a side salad or sautéed veggie.

  1. When it says balsamic dressing, is that a pre-made salad dressing? If I don’t have that could I make my own from balsamic vinegar and olive oil?

  2. For the steaks, is it two half-pound steaks, cut up in half to make the 4 servings? Or, 1/2 pound steak total cut up into 4? Look forward to making this soon!

  3. Great question @Samuel! Each steak is a half pound so it’s one pound for the whole recipe or each steak with be one quarter pound. After cooking that makes it a 3 ounce steak.
